Haven't been to , too many concerts but i know exactly what you are talking about, lose your voice for a couple of days and s**t.. I use to listen to Rock and roll music growing up with older sisters born in the 60's,,Heard allot of Motown and sht, rock and roll , and allot of Country, plus old school rap..
Didn't get into Death,Thrash Metal until age of 16 plus some hard core rap. Crazy ass Friend introduced me to this type of music.. The guy had everything you could think all put into 4 suitcases, alphabetical order.. in which i think up in New Jersey where he is from, they really got into hard core Death Metal music , Long Hair head banger who wore leather jackets, arms cut out with jean jacket underneath ready for a "Mosh", if you know what i mean..
Pretty much now i listen to sht that sounds good with the music it self, then the vocal, finally the lyrics in what there singing about...
Through out the years of listening to music nd different types of music, I tend to know what is good, what is not, what makes your booty shake and your head bang, in my taste of music anyways....
